I designed a coffee table-style book with a focus on a clean, thoughtfully structured grid and an intentionally chosen typeface, creating a refined visual experience. More than just a collection of photographs, the book was crafted as a timeless gift to capture a family member’s memories and images from their travels to Japan. Every photo was carefully curated and edited to embody the essence of a high-end coffee table book, ensuring that each moment was presented with the same artistry and attention to detail as the memories themselves.

My goal was to create a piece that seamlessly blends in with other beautifully designed coffee table books—a sophisticated keepsake rather than a traditional, clunky photo album. By balancing composition, negative space, and typography, the design enhances each photograph’s story, making it a considered addition to any space. The result is a book that not only preserves cherished moments but also feels intentional, thoughtfully designed, and worthy of display.
